Can the Wildcats steal away the sons of Carlos Boozer, a former Duke great?

Mark Pope is recruiting all the big names in the 2025 basketball recruiting class, as you would expect from a Kentucky basketball coach. However, there are two that are intriguing and exciting, those recruits' names are Cameron and Cayden Boozer. Cameron is currently listed as the #2 overall recruit in next year's class by 24/7 sports and Cayden is listed as the #21 overall recruit by the same source. If that last name rings a bell, it's because they are the twin sons of former Duke Blue Devil and NBA star Carlos Boozer.

Being the sons of a former Blue Devil would indicate that the twins are locks for Duke, right? They certainly wouldn't come to Big Blue Nation and play for their Dad's basketball rival, right? If that's your take and your theory you may end up being wrong. They have a scheduled visit for September 22.

Currently, they have only 4 visits lined up and those schools are Duke (shocking), Florida, Kentucky, and Miami. The Florida schools have a strong appeal because their high school, Columbus High School, is in Miami Florida. These two schools are the local schools, Duke being their dad's school, and then there's the wildcard school, the Wildcats.

This weekend they will be on the Kentucky campus and may even be attending the Kentucky football game against Ohio on September 21. Mark Pope is working hard to have a big 2025 class and he is trying to steal these two away from what many assumed would be Duke locks. The race is on for the Boozers.

Cameron is almost 6'10 and plays down low and will most likely play the power forward position in college while Cayden is a point guard and listed at closer to 6'4. If you measure their hair, they both have even more height.

They seem to be a package deal and both could be absolute impact players for whatever program gets them. Big Blue Nation, if you see these two walking around campus this week, you know the move.
