Smith is a major target for Kentucky who has emerged in just the past few days after entering the transfer portal this past weekend.

The Utah guard had five triple-doubles last season alone and averaged 13.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game.

What makes Smith such a great potential addition? His ability to pass the ball and make this roster of all newbies work. He led the Pac-12 in assists and was sixth in the NCAA. His assist rate was 43.2 percent, second in the NCAA. He had a 2.84 assist-to-turnover ratio.

While he shot 40.8 percent from three, he's not a high volume three-point shooter, attempting just 2.8 per game.

Smith is someone who would excel in Mark Pope's up-tempo and guard-heavy offense, and be the motor on both ends of the floor.
