Dewayne Robertson finished the 2002 season as a second-team All-SEC selection after beginning his career converting to the defensive line from H-back. It seemed that there was so much potential in him as a disruptive defensive tackle, but it was all theoretical for the 6-foot-1 317-pound 22-year-old.

The Jets took a chance on Robertson early, but he could never get to the quarterback in the NFL. His career high in sacks was four in 2007 and he only totaled 24 tackles for loss across his six-season career.

Robertson was eventually traded from the Jets to the Broncos as New York cut its losses, but after one year in Denver, Robertson was out of the league.
