2. Who steps up as a consistent secondary scoring option?

Kentucky has a lot of pieces who have played prominant roles on other teams but very few that have been a go-to, top option consistently.

I think you look at a guy like Andrew Carr as the potential running mate with Robinson as the go-to players.

Carr comes to Lexington after two successful years at the high-major level with Wake Forest. He's scored above 20 points just eight times in the last two years but has been very consistent in double-figures.

Carr has the skillset to be the ideal match for a Mark Pope system as well. At 6-foot-10, he can step out and shoot 3s, he can play in the post and he can be effective in high ball screen action.

“Andrew Carr is the prototypical college and NBA power forward,” Pope said in a statement about Carr's signing. “He’s incredibly skilled and an elite level decision maker. He shoots the ball with terrific range and is a force inside shooting 66 percent on 2-point field goal attempts."

Carr played very well last year playing alongside a ball dominant scoring guard in Hunter Sallis, so playing with Jaxson Robinson will be no different.

That secodary option could also be someone like Koby Brea with his shooting ability, but the inconsistency he's had making plays off of the dribble is a bit of a concern. He's going to be a major threat for Kentucky, but not sure he fits that secondary piece perfectly.
