Liam McNeeley. 3. player. Freshman. Wing. Players. . 892. . Liam McNeeley

Liam McNeeley has been well traveled already without playing a second of college basketball. The one-time Indiana signee re-opened his recruitment in the winter after the relationship with the IU staff seemed to veer off course. That and the lack of an offensive system that would benefit McNeeley contributed to his decommitment.

McNeeley is best known for his shooting ability but he's an outstanding playmaker as well. A 2024 McDonald's All-American and consensus top-20 prospect, McNeeley averaged 12.9 points in two seasons at Montverde Academy (Fla.) and shot 44 percent from three with 120 made 3s in his two years.

McNeeley has played at the highest level of high school basketball and on the Nike EYBL circuit. The best part about his game is he is very willing to defer to others in the scoring column while still impacting the game in numerous other areas.

The 6-foot-7 wing can play both on and off the ball and is a terrific passer. He's very confident playing with the best players in the country and does a terrific job at picking his spots.

If he were to become available, he's someone that Mark Pope should look at. He would be a terrific fit for Kentucky and would be willing to fit in anywhere he was needed.
