The Kentucky basketball program still has one available scholarship ahead of the 2024-25 season and is getting close to a decision from a top potential target.

Will Riley, a class of 2025 5-star wing from The Phelps School (Pa.), has announced he willmake his college decision on June 23.

The 5-star wing will be choosing between Kentucky, Illinois, Alabama, Arizona and the NBL.

Right now RIley is in the 2025 class but rumors have been very consistent about the potential that he would be moving into the 2024 class.

Riley took a trio of visits to Kentucky, Illinois and Alabama earlier this month. As things currently stand, there seems to be some momentum for Illinois.

Riley burst on to the scene earlier this spring when he was named the MVP of the Basketball Without Borders event during the NBA All-Star weekend.

He's followed up a good sophomore season at The Phelps School (Pa.) with a terrific spring on the AAU Circuit. Playing for UPLAY on the Nike EYBL circuit, Riley put together one of the most impressive games by any prospect this spring. Last weekend, the first live session of the spring, Riley had a massive 42-point outing where he was 15-of-16 from the floor.

Riley is ranked the No. 16 overall player in the 247Sports Composite Rankings and is the No. 3 small forward in the class.
