UK FB Rank. . . 10. . player. . Lou Michaels . Lou Michaels . 55

The great Polish placekicker Lou Michaels starts our list. Not only did he give Kentucky fans an all-time great quote with, "Nothing sucks like a Big Orange," after beating Tennessee in his Senior season, but his work as a jack-of-all-trades kind of athlete puts him in rarified air even before the NFL.

A 2x Pro Bowler for his kicking work, Michaels led the league in Field Goals Made in 1962. Unfortunately, he's best remembered for missing two attempts against Joe Namath and the Jets in Super Bowl III. Still, you can't fault the longevity and effectiveness of a man who played high-level football for 13 seasons.
