This is March! While the focus has shifted to the Kentucky basketball team taking on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament, we can't forget about Otega Oweh. His heroics from Thursday night were downright incredible.
Oweh broke countless hearts in Oklahoma with his unreal buzzer-beater and the smile on his face after doing so could be seen all the way back in Lexington. Shortly after his brilliant moment, Oweh hopped on with the SEC Network for his postgame interview. Take a look at this clip and try not to smile yourself. You can see just how much that shot meant to him and his teammates:

Otega Oweh was thrilled over his game-winning bucket for Kentucky in the SEC Tournament
Get a bucket! Yup, Oweh went ahead and did just that, making sure he got downhill in a flash to help send his team to the next round. For a moment there, it looked like Oklahoma was going to walk away with a thrilling win. However, Oweh had other ideas.
This was easily one of the biggest moments of his career and it's one that people all over Kentucky are still celebrating. However, those celebrations will end quickly, as Oweh and the Wildcats are now getting ready at the next task at hand: taking down the Tide.
Nate Oats and his players are 2-0 this season against UK, which doesn't give people a ton of confidence leading up to Friday night's tilt. Mark Sears is still riding high over his game-winner against Auburn, while the Tide as a whole know a No. 1 seed for the NCAA Tournament rides on them going on a deep run in the SEC Tourney.
Oweh and Kentucky don't care about that, as they'd love nothing more than to crush those dreams by sending them home from Nashville early. Yes, Alabama is considered a strong favorite to come out on top, but let's see if there's more magic left for Oweh and the Wildcats. An upset could be on the menu in this one.
