Crowdus was an interesting prospect at wide receiver for the Wildcats but didn't stick around long enough to find out how he would do. He left after his sophomore year to go catch passes at Hawaii, where he excelled; he made the right decision and was a helpful part of the receiver room for the Rainbow Warriors. Wright continued to be buried on the depth chart at Kentucky and needed to find a home where he could get a lot of opportunities to run. As this was his senior year, the departure made a whole lot of sense for him. He left for Austin Peay and was able to carry the rock 115 times for 643 yards and recorded five touchdowns. This was a smart decision for him, and he was impressed on so many levels at his new home.
