Former Kentucky Wildcats star De'Aaron Fox went off last night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, scoring 60 points. This is the highest output in his career, and it is a new record for the Sacramento Kings. A record that has been in existence for 64 years. The only downside is that the Kings lost the game, but he did everything in his power to ensure they had a chance to win. Adding 7 assists and 3 steals to that impressive scoring performance. Fox said, "I would've rather us gotten the rebound in the fourth and not even get sixty... it's definitely cool, but obviously, I definitely wanted to get the win."

He's not the only former Kentucky star to hold the franchise scoring record. Devin Booker for the Phoenix Suns, Karl-Anthony Towns for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Anthony Davis for the New Orleans Pelicans also have scoring records for those respective teams.

When asked post-game about his performance and if he learned anything about himself, Fox said with a grin and a chuckle, "I knew I was nice already." And he wasn't the only NBA star or analyst to confirm that Fox is nice.

Anthony Edwards was gushing over Fox's performance even though Ant was able to pick up the win.

It was an amazing performance from Fox, and it puts him in elite company both in the NBA and among former Wildcats. Only 20 NBA players have achieved this feat in the last 20 years, and the names on this list are impressive. He's truly joined the kings of the NBA.

He also joins a list of former Wildcats who have scored 50+ in an NBA game; that list now has 12: John Wall, Anthony Davis, Tony Delk, Devin Booker, Cliff Hagan, Karl Anthony-Towns, Julius Randle, Jamal Murray, Tyrese Maxey, DeMarcus Cousins, Jamal Mashburn, and now De'Aaron Fox.
