Kentucky took care of business on Senior Day, dominating an undefeated Tennessee Tech team 42-10. But the story of the game wasn't just the win; it was the statement performance from freshman quarterback Cutter Boley, who played his best game as a Wildcat.
Boley was nearly perfect, finishing 18-for-21 for 236 yards, one touchdown, and most importantly zero turnovers.
But it wasn't his stats that had the head coach stunned. It was two specific plays that showed a different side of the young QB: one of "fun" and one of pure arm talent.
The first was his 30-yard touchdown run, where he shocked his own coach.

“I was a little bit dumbfounded,” Mark Stoops said. “And I said, ‘did he score?’ He scored. You know what? That's fun. It's fun. You do not want to see that. We've got to teach him how to protect himself a little bit... It would have been pretty easy to tiptoe out of bounds right there but he decided to get it in so good for him.”
Boley's 'impressive' pass that sealed the game
If the run was "fun," his 45-yard touchdown pass to Hardley Gilmore IV was masterful. Stoops broke down just how difficult the throw was.
“It was a very predictable pass. Second and extra long and into a pretty strong breeze with defenders all over the place. He threads it and Hardley made a really nice catch and a great finish,” Stoops said. “But really impressive throw and the confidence that he has... over the middle like that, again, with predictable pass, with them sinking back and playing coverage, impressive throw.”
After a rocky, turnover-filled start to his career, Boley has now settled in. Paired with a dominant 3-touchdown day from Seth McGowan and a 5.3 yards-per-carry ground game, the offense is finally finding the rhythm Stoops has been looking for.
