We listened to Louisville say how much better they were all season long, only for them to beat a Mark Stoops team that had gone through the wringer and didn't look ready to fight. They knocked the coaches and the players. And now? They just picked up Montavin Quisenberry for their 4th former Kentucky player this transfer cycle.

Quisenberry, a former 3-star recruit, committed to Kentucky while Vince Marrow was still in Lexington. Something that he shares with the other 3 former Cats players joining him in Louisville: DJ Waller, Jerod, and Jacob Smith.

DJ Waller shared a photo of the L's up, similar to what Quisenberry did for his announcement, while Jerod and Jacob were developmental players who could be poised for a breakout. Waller will look to slot in instantly in the defensive backfield for the Cardinals. Quisenberry did not make an impact in his one year in Lexington, but he will look to change that over in Louisville.

Kentucky football still has the better Transfer Portal class despite losing Montavin Quisenberry

Even still, Kentucky is bringing in a higher quality of player than Louisville is right now. 247Sports has Kentucky with the 9th highest-rated Transfer Portal class in the country, while Louisville sits at 14th. This is despite the fact that Kentucky's head coach is in Eugene preparing for the College Football Playoff semifinals.

The Cats' class, headlined by offensive linemen Olaus Alinen and Coleton Price, and quarterback Kenny Minchey, has an average player ranking of 33.5 to Louisville's 29.48.

Kentucky still has a lot of work to do in the portal, and there are several guys coming in for visits over the next couple of days, so those numbers will definitely change.

What won't change, though, is Louisville fans complaining about Kentucky players not being good enough and then taking all of them from Lexington that they can get their hands on. There is something seriously funny about that fact.
