After the Kentucky Wildcats beat the Louisville Cardinals 93-85, Pat Kelsey and Louisville stars had the opportunity to be part of the post-game press conference. Terrence Edwards Jr. once again continues to provide quotes proving that Louisville is the "little brother" to Kentucky. The rivalry has always had a feel of Kentucky being the bigger and better older brother, and as much as Louisville fans deny it, quotes like this continue to come back and haunt them.

Earlier this week, Edwards said the first of these quotes to prove this narrative. You can read the whole article here. But here's the quote:

""We don't care if you win NO games this year, we just want you to beat Kentucky...Three other people said the same thing to me...We are committed to this game and we are ready. Some of us came here just to play Kentucky.""
Terrence Edwards Jr.

That there are actual Louisville players who came simply to play Kentucky is quite the line. However, he doubled down with his comments on Kentucky in the post-game press conference when he said this:

"This was the greatest atmosphere I’ve ever played in… It’s like no other. Seeing the L’s down. It really makes you want to win this game."
Terrence Edwards Jr.

Louisville fans have worked hard to prove that their atmosphere is getting back and that they are selling out games. However, as Pat Kelsey works to recruit students to come to games and the athletics continue to find ways to give away tickets so fans will attend, and then these comments only go to show that Louisville is nowhere near the basketball program that Kentucky is.

Edwards did have a fantastic game against the Kentucky Wildcats, putting up 23 points and going 5-7 from three-point land. The atmosphere may have helped him rise to one of his best games in his career.
