Lamont Butler is one heck of a basketball player but he also loves to rap. He made his entrance into BIg Blue Madness from the seats and what would come on, but his newest beat. A mic somehow was in his hand, and he began to perform a new song that's an ode to Big Blue Nation and Kentucky Wildcats basketball.

It features the entire basketball team, the coach, and even Big Blue Nation. His lyrics hype up each player on the team and what he imagines the year to be for Kentucky. Spoiler alert: He plans for Kentucky to go off this year, and each of his teammates will play an important role.

Iif you haven't had a chance to watch it, here it is:

The lyrics are available in the song as you watch it. And there are some great moments and great lines but here are a few of my favorites:

"Now I'm at Kentucky, one year to do Omega things. Time to run it back, one more time, I want some better rings."

"Man I can't wait to play in Rupp."

"Coach Pope the best out no kizzy." This one may need a little translating for those who don't know the slang. He's saying Coach Mark Pope is the best coach, and that's not a lie.

I love his shoutout to each teammate and even them dancing in the background. The play on their names to make double meanings was genius, but maybe what made it amazing was when he said, "BBN turn up for me," and the video switched to his intro at Big Blue Madness. This was a chills moment for sure.

This is the anthem for the year, and I hope that Butler continues to make music while at Kentucky. Can you imagine a Final Four soundtrack or a hanging banner celebration with Butler grabbing the mic and some new lyrics to celebrate?
