It was just 2 weeks ago that Kentucky women's basketball and Vanderbilt had an instant classic. Mikayla Blakes played the entire 40 minutes and dropped a huge 37 points in Historic Memorial Coliseum. Teonni Key countered with 27 of her own as Kentucky shot 56% from the floor and 50% from deep, but came up short 84-83.

That game was largely decided by missed free throws and turnovers. Kentucky had 20 turnovers and 5 missed free throws in a game that will haunt them if they don't find themselves in the top 16 of the NCAA field. And now the rematch gets a well-deserved TV bump.

In women's basketball, the top 16 seeds all host the 1st and 2nd rounds of the NCAA Tournament. That is a huge advantage, and one Kentucky is now fighting for. With the win over Ole Miss, they should find themselves barely back in, but a slip-up can see them fall right back out.

Kentucky-Vanderbilt will be shown on ESPN2

As the Cats and Dores get ready for round 2 on Sunday, it was announced that the game would be moved from 3 PM EST to 4 PM EST. This allowed for TV coverage of a game between two SEC powerhouses who are looking to stake a claim heading into March.

There are only 3 games left before the SEC Tournament kicks off in Greensboro, and you better believe both of these teams will be looking to leave it all on the floor to get the win.

It was later announced that the game will be carried live on ESPN2, so no need to break out the streaming sticks, phone, or a laptop. Simply turn on the TV and watch the Cats head for glory.
