The Kentucky women’s basketball team is set for a top-25 showdown against Alabama on Thursday, Jan. 30, at 7:00 PM ET. Playing at Historic Memorial Coliseum, this game is crucial for SEC standings.
Kentucky has 2 losses on the year one to North Carolina out of conference, and one at Texas A&M recently. The loss was a big time wake up for the Lady Cats who were cruising through the early portion of their SEC schedule.
What happened in the two game was very similar. Kentucky just could not buy a basket from deep. The offense was just non-existent over long stretches of time. And you just can not win a major college basketball game when you can not score the ball.
