Kentucky’s next stop after the Tennessee Tech Senior Day, will be Nashville, where they’ll face Vanderbilt in a game that suddenly carries real weight for both programs. For Vandy, it’s about keeping their razor-thin postseason dream alive. For Kentucky, it’s survival, the Wildcats need a win to stay on track for bowl eligibility.

What we know: kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on November 22.
What we don’t know: what channel it’s on.

The SEC’s television partners, ESPN, ESPN2, and ABC, have all reserved that slot, and Kentucky’s matchup with Vanderbilt is among several candidates being evaluated. A final network decision is expected early next week.

That uncertainty is frustrating for fans who have spent much of the season navigating streaming-only broadcasts. The good news: this one will be on actual television. The bad news: you may not know which channel until a few days before kickoff. So keep it tuned here as we will update this post as soon as it becomes known.

A break from streaming for BBN — sort of

It’s been a trying fall for Kentucky fans. The Tennessee Tech game this weekend will again be SEC Network+ exclusive. And not to mention the plethora of Kentucky basketball games on streaming services.

Even if the Vandy game lands on one of EPN’s linear networks, the Disney–YouTube TV dispute still looms large. The two sides have been at odds since October 30, and that blackout remains unresolved.

If you’re a YouTube TV subscriber, you’ll need a workaround. Options like Sling TV’s 24-hour pass give temporary ESPN access for around six dollars, or if the game lands on ABC, those near a local affiliate may be able to catch it over the air.

One way or another, Kentucky fans are used to adapting. But it would be nice to know what channel it will be on.
