Champions Blue LLC announces Kroger Field expansion
At a Club Blue Board of Governors meeting on Thursday morning, seven targeted upgrades for Kroger Field were announced. Work is scheduled to begin over the next few years and is projected to generate $4 million in annual revenue.
Here is what is coming to Kroger Field over the next few years:
- North and South Upper Deck Seatbacks: Designed to enhance comfort and significantly expand chairback availability.
- Loge Club and Club Seat Infill: Created to meet the rising demand for elevated hospitality options.
- New Terrace-Style “Back-of-Bowl” Seating: A new concept to create flexible, social viewing areas.
- Scoreboard Patio Clubs: Adding standing-room-only premium space and new sponsorship inventory.
- West End Zone Field Club: A modern, membership-driven experience with year-round potential.
Kentucky AD Mitch Barnhart emphasized the long-term vision behind the move:

Kentucky's portal targets are on campus
