A deja vu of disorganization for the Big Blue Nation
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. For Kentucky football fans, the definition of insanity is watching a Bush Hamdan-led offense week after week. While the defense battled to keep the Wildcats in the game against a high-powered Ole Miss squad, the offense was once again mired in confusion, poor execution, and baffling play calls that left fans and even players frustrated.
The disorganization was palpable from the start. Kentucky burned all three of its first-half timeouts due to personnel issues and an inability to get plays in on time. The chaos was so visible that quarterback Zach Calzada was caught on camera turning away from the sideline and mouthing, "what the (expletive) are we doing?" It's a question the entire Big Blue Nation is asking. This isn't a first-year coordinator ironing out wrinkles; this is the offense Hamdan built, with the quarterback he handpicked, and it is fundamentally broken.
There are no more excuses for Hamdan, and yet he still sounds like he has no answers when it comes to fixing it.

In his post-game press conference, Hamdan repeatedly stated, "we got to take a look at it." When asked about the communication issues, the struggling passing game, or the substitution problems, the answer was the same. That isn't an answer; it's a deflection. For a fanbase desperate for progress, watching an offense that can't even line up correctly is an inexcusable look for Kentucky football. The time for "taking a look at it" is over. It's time for a change.
