The major takeaway for the Cats and Gators
The big injuries to note for Florida are the absences of receivers Eugene “Tre” Wilson and Dallas Wilson. Dallas Wilson had been one of the team’s most consistent threats, but he left last weekend’s contest against Georgia with a foot injury and is now out for the season.
The news gets worse for the Gators. Eugene Wilson, who will also miss Saturday’s game, is coming off a massive performance where he hauled in nine catches for 121 yards and a score in the loss to Georgia.
Quarterback DJ Lagway will be down a plethora of weapons this weekend in Lexington.
For the Cats, getting DJ Waller (Probable) back will be huge for a secondary that has been exposed all year long against quarterbacks who can pass vertically.
Drew Holbrook is an avid Kentucky fan who has been covering the Cats for over 10 years. In his free time he enjoys downtime with his family and Premier League soccer. You can find him on X here. Micah 7:7. #UptheAlbion
