Rivalry games bring out the worst in fans, yet Kentucky fans would tell you that Tennesee fans are already the worst. That became the common consensus throughout the game and after as Kentucky fans took to X to showcase the Volunteer fanbase.
I have wonderful friends who are Tennessee fans. The best people you’d ever meet, but collectively, the Tennessee fanbase is the most classless fanbase on the planet.

Pure trash
Tennessee fans are the absolute worst fans on the planet.

ZERO class.
It became most apparent, and the outrage went the most viral when Kentucky players went down with injuries. It should be noted that at no point in the game did it seem like either team was faking an injury, and both teams had injury timeouts. It's at that point in the season when players are playing banged up, and it gets exasperated in a game. So, unless it's obvious that a player is faking it, it's pretty heartless to boo them.
Tennessee fans cheering as one of our players is freaking out in pain… I hope every one of these idiots gets flat tires on the way home. I genuinely hate no other fanbase more.

Even when Kentucky quarterback Brock Vandagriff went down with a clear head injury and struggled to walk straight, you could clearly hear the Volunteer fans booing, which truly is a classless act.
Tennessee fans waving and booing at Vandergriff as he’s walked off with a concussion is the definition of classy. One of the worst fan bases in college football. @KySportsRadio

It may have all started with the first injury stoppage of the game when Tre’vonn Rybka went down after being twisted up at the bottom of a pile. The replay showed clearly that he was contorted in a way that had to have caused pain. However, even live, he was clearly at the bottom of a pile of bodies. Tennessee fans (mainly the student section) started chanting something obscene.

Let's be clear: Booing injuries is a messed-up thing to do. I get it when it's obvious the person is faking it, but you need to give players the benefit of the doubt when they go down. This was especially true when Tennessee players were going down to injury, too, but the fanbase would remain quiet and cheer when that player could get up and walk off. This is the appropriate response to injury no matter which team is injured.
Tennessee fans would’ve boo’d Damar Hamlin

Big Blue Nation had a moment during the game when, virally, they all agreed that the Tennessee Volunteer fanbase is the worst.
One of the only universally agreed upon facts in the SEC is that Tennessee fans are the worst and most deplorable of any sports fans in the world https://t.co/WepWV5Ssr7
