The Kentucky Wildcats essentially didn't show up for their rivalry game against the Louisville Cardinals. They played flat and had multiple turnovers and lapses on defense throughout the whole game. It was unwatchable for so many Kentucky football fans, and fans slowly turned off their TVs and trickled out of the stadium in disgust.

In the second quarter, fans started considering turning the game off. Louisville was up 17-0, and the Kentucky Wildcats looked like they couldn't even get 17 yards, much less 17 points. While that's not a real stat, they ended the first half with 107 total yards. They went 0-7 on third down. It was hard to watch, and TVs began to get turned off. People moved on to enjoy their Saturday without Mark Stoops' undisciplined Wildcats dominating their minds.

Louisville went into the half leading 20-0, and Kentucky had zero answer for anything. True freshman quarterback Cutter Boley was not sharp, and the hope that many had for him this week was dwindling throughout each offensive series. He ended the first half going 6/15 for 48 yards and 2 interceptions. The game was frustrating for Big Blue Nation; fans began to leave before it even hit half-time. Why let a football game ruin your day? It has very much "I got better things to do than watch this trash."

Athletic director Mitch Barnhart has already given support to Mark Stoops to fix this team, and they've expressed that they have the resources to do it. This doesn't feel like a "get better players" problem. That may help, but the problems are much deeper than those of the players. It was a poorly coached season and game. Some of that support may be because Stoops would be owed $44 million dollars if Kentucky fires him without cause (and no, the cause can't be that he sucks). Will Boosters help find a way to get rid of Stoops? As bad as this game/season has been, maybe there's a solution to the coaching problem.

It's okay to turn this game off and/or leave your seats. The University, Barnhart, Stoops, or whoever needs to know that this is disgusting, and fans are tired of it.
