Kentucky fans and media react to Wildcats loss to Tennessee
There is no love lost between the Kentucky and Tennessee fanbases, and all too often, for our liking, the Cats come up on the losing end of the football matchup. Kentucky has not beaten a Tennessee team that finished with a winning record since 1984; that's before most of you have been alive. Tonight was frustrating for a lot of reasons; let's see what you have to say:
Kentucky has games of brilliance (at Ole Miss and at home against Georgia), but they also have lackluster efforts (South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Florida, Auburn), a little Jekyll and Hyde or, as KSR's Jack Pilgrim puts it, a little like Forrest Gump:
Tennessee fans were loud all night long, causing communication issues and numerous false starts; on one occasion, it was back-to-back false starts. They also enjoyed themselves post-game:
Brock Vandagriff looked okay (10 of 17 for 123 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception) when he wasn't running for his life:
The night ended early for him as he had to be helped to the back after a vicious hit from James Pearce Jr, who got a free rush after Eli Cox completely whiffed on a block; there is no update available:
Most fans are just tired and frustrated and ready to move on from Mark Stoops, even the Louisville fans are getting in on the act:
A lot of fans are just tired of Bush Hamdan as well:
Speaking of Eric Wolford, he and Stoops got animated with each other on the sideline after a false start. Fans were not happy when he was brought back, and even less so now:
A lot of fans are now just ready to move on to basketball season. We will end with one positive one:
Where is your head at as we head into the last bye week of the season for the Cats?
