Kentucky and Wisconsin have a complicated past filled with ups and downs. You have Aaron Harrison hitting one of the biggest 3's in Final Four History to continue Kentucky's magic run with a win over the Badgers. They came up short, but it really was magical.
The very next year, I remember all too well, as I am sure you do too: Frank Kaminsky and the spin move that ruined the 38-0 dream. That one still stings. Get the ball, spin back to his right, get a hoop, repeat. It was awful.
And now, in 2026, they share a stat that is just as wild but in a completely different way.
Wisconsin and Kentucky are the 2025-2026 comeback kings
There are currently only 2 High Major teams in the entire country that have 5+ wins after being down 10 or more points. If you have been reading so far, you probably have the answer:
Kentucky and Wisconsin.
The Cats have a bad habit of digging deep holes in the first half. But they also have a habit of climbing out of them. They roared back against St. John's, hit a miracle jumper at the buzzer against LSU, broke Tennessee's hearts twice, and then blew out Mississippi State after being down 18-6 early.
That is something that is pretty spectacular. It's good, and it is also bad. You know you can come back at any moment, but you also know you could be down by 10 at any given moment.
Wisconsin has the exact same flair for the dramatic.
Tonight marked the 5th time in the last 9 games that @BadgerMBB overcome a double-digit deficit to win.

The stat proves this team has fight: they will not just accept defeat. You can never really count them out. But for the sake of the BBN's blood pressure? Hopefully, Kentucky can figure out how to win without the 15-point deficit soon.
Knowing the history between these two schools though, the drama is usually part of the deal.
