Kentucky basketball’s 'The Journey' is the video of the year after win over Gonzaga

The Kentucky basketball media team has been producing "The Journey" videos for the last few seasons, and they are only improving. Kentucky fans thought they were getting the best version of the series ever in the win over Duke, but in only a few short weeks, they were wrong as the media team came out with an even better video of the win over Gonzaga. The game's drama may have helped, as it was an instant classic.

The anticipation for Gonzaga's "The Journey" began immediately after the game, as fans were already looking forward to its release. That's how good of a job this media team does with them. While celebrating the win, fans are thinking about the masterpiece that is coming in the "movie" produced by the Kentucky athletics media team.

Mark Pope put on another masterclass in coaching as he led his team from a 16-point half-time deficit to win the game 90-89 in overtime over the Zags. This was captured beautifully in this production, and not only should Kentucky be proud of this win, but the media team should also pat themselves on the back.

Kentucky now has two top-10 wins and one of the best resumes in college basketball in Pope's first season as the head coach. The SEC gauntlet may end up producing even more instant classic games in this epic season, but as of now, I can't imagine a better game for Kentucky than this one during this season.
