It’s a busy week in Kentucky sports, with big basketball storylines, football stars rising at the NFL Combine, and baseball heating up. From Kerr Kriisa’s uncertain future to Auburn’s postgame antics, here’s what’s making headlines in the Wildcats’ world right now.

The mystery surrounding Kerr Kriisa’s future at Kentucky just got a little more intriguing. Kriisa was notably absent from the team’s Senior Night dinner, raising speculation about whether he will officially participate in the festivities.

But does this mean he’s returning next season? Not necessarily. While some players skip Senior Night if they plan to return, it’s also possible that Kriisa is undecided or just opted out of the ceremony for personal reasons.

Either way, his future remains one of the biggest offseason question marks for Mark Pope and the Wildcats.

Two former Wildcats boosted their NFL Draft stock with standout performances at the NFL Combine.

🔥 Maxwell Hairston (CB):
🔹 Ran a 4.28-second 40-yard dash, one of the fastest at the event
🔹 Showed elite agility and explosiveness in drills

🔥 Eli Cox (OL):
🔹 Dominated strength tests, proving he’s ready for the trenches
🔹 Moved surprisingly well in agility drills for his size

Both players are now on the rise heading into the final stretch of the pre-draft process. Could Kentucky see multiple Wildcats taken early in the draft? The buzz is growing.

5. Auburn’s Disrespectful Celebration at Rupp Sparks Controversy

After embarrassing Kentucky at home, Auburn players didn’t hold back in their postgame celebration.

The Tigers pretended to “whoop that a$$” with a real belt, taking turns mock-spanking the air on Kentucky’s home floor.

It was a bold move, but considering Auburn’s dominant 94-78 win, it’s hard to say they didn’t earn it.

Still, watching that kind of celebration in Rupp Arena is inexcusable. If Kentucky needed extra motivation for a revenge game, Auburn just gift-wrapped it.

Last but not least it is Senior Night. Take a few moments to remember all this team did well, and enjoy that the most.
