If you thought things couldn’t get worse for Kentucky basketball, think again.
Not only did Auburn dismantle the Wildcats in Rupp Arena, but the Tigers mocked them on their own floor—and Kentucky fans could only watch in frustration.
Late in the second half, as Auburn extended its lead to 20+ points, the visiting Tigers’ fans started a “Let’s Go Auburn” chant inside Rupp Arena. That’s right—an opposing fanbase had grown loud enough in Rupp to make their presence known.
Kentucky fans weren’t having it.
The crowd erupted in boos, drowning out the Auburn chant, refusing to let their home arena be taken over. But as soon as the final buzzer sounded, Auburn players got the last laugh—in the most disrespectful way possible.
Auburn Players Mock Kentucky with Belt Celebration
After dominating the Wildcats 94-78, Auburn’s Johni Broome and his teammates took their victory lap in the worst possible way. Grabbing a belt, they took turns pretending to “whoop” an imaginary butt, taunting Kentucky in front of their own fans.

The message was clear:
“We just whooped y’all, and we’re letting you know about it.”
And with the way Kentucky played? Hard to argue.
Auburn Earned the Right to Talk—Kentucky Gave It to Them
Let’s be real—if you lose like this on your home floor, you open the door for embarrassment.
📊 Stat Breakdown:

🔹 Three-Point Shooting: Auburn 46.2% (12-26), Kentucky 23.5% (4-17)
🔹 Fast Break Points: Auburn 22, Kentucky 10
🔹 Largest Lead: Auburn 22, Kentucky 1
Auburn hit big shots. Kentucky? Lacked fight.
Auburn played with swagger. Kentucky? Looked hesitant.
This wasn’t just a loss—it was a humiliation. And Auburn made sure to rub it in.
Where’s the Pride? Where’s the Fire?
Kentucky fans showed more passion than the players at times, refusing to let Auburn’s chant take over. But at the end of the night, the only noise that mattered was Auburn’s celebration.
Losing is one thing. Being mocked in your own house? Inexcusable.
Mark Pope needs to put that belt celebration on repeat in the locker room because if Kentucky doesn’t fix its issues, this won’t be the last time an opponent dances on their court.
BBN, how are we feeling after this one? Because this should never happen again.
