Former Kentucky Wildcat star quarterback Will Levis has had a rocky tenure in his two years in the NFL playing for the Tennessee Titans. This week may have signaled the end of his time with the Titans as Tennessee moved him to the bench after three interceptions and one sack. Mason Rudolph came into the game to finish out the effort in a Titans loss to the Cincinnati Bengals 37-27.

Levis had a relatively decent start to his NFL career. Last year, he only had four interceptions during the season and threw for 1,808 yards. He also added eight touchdowns to those stats. This year it's been an up-and-down rollercoaster. He is up to 12 interceptions and three fumbles on the season for a similar yardage total of 1,916. While he does have 12 touchdowns on the season, he's turned the ball over far too many times for the Titans staff, and many assume they are now jumping into a quarterback search for next season.

"Following this nightmarish performance, the Titans may enter the sweepstakes for a new starting quarterback in 2025."

This wasn't simply a one-game performance for the former Kentucky Wildcat. Fans have been calling for him to be benched off and on throughout the season. They are tired of his inability to hold on to the football. The Fansided site for the Tennessee Titans, Titansized.com, said this:

"Levis completed 8-of-12 passing attempts for 89 yards, zero touchdowns, three interceptions, and one lost fumble. He consistently put the ball in harm's way and shot himself in the foot. Recurring turnovers have been a season-long problem."

This may be the end of this time in a Titans uniform, but he still has plenty of talent and an elite arm -he will find a spot on a new roster next season. There is hope among Big Blue Nation that with the right coach, offense, and line, he can succeed at a high level in the NFL.
