This will be Duke and Kentucky's first prime-time, nationally televised game of the season. It will also be both programs' first neutral-site game. Each program will be looking for this early non-conference win, especially against a heated rival. There's no love lost between these two teams. Each team has started hot both in their exhibition games and early season games. This will be the first big test for either team.
If you would love to see it in person, there are still plenty of tickets available on the State Farm Champions Classic website.
Duke is currently the favorite for the game as they are ranked higher and projected to finish as one of the best basketball programs in the country. However, Kentucky has proven that it is being under-ranked and overlooked. This will be a big opportunity to prove the doubters wrong about this newly rebuilt program.
