If you are struggling to keep up with where Hardley Gilmore IV is going to play, you aren't the only one. It started last year when the talented wide receiver decided to follow Dane Key to Nebraska. That lasted all of about a month, and he was dismissed from the Cornhuskers.

There was no reason given, but coach Matt Rhule said there were no disciplinary actions, and Gilmore found his way back to Mark Stoops and Kentucky. That was transfer number 1.

Then Mark Stoops was fired, and Will Stein was hired. Hardley Gilmore decided he was going to go to Louisville. But before signing with the Cards, he had a sudden change of heart.

But it wasn't Kentucky who he would want to be going to, it was Baylor.

Gilmore is going to be back in Lexington

But just as fast as the Nebraska and Louisville commitments were, Baylor was left in the lurch. Gilmore decided that he would be heading back to Lexington to play with the Wildcats.

What a wild turn of events that is, and it is a bit of good fortune for Kentucky, who have a lot of receivers but is unsure of where they will fall on the depth chart.

In his 2 years in Lexington, Gilmore has a total of 34 catches for 466 yards to go along with 2 TDs. He is a former 4-star top 60 wide receiver and has the talent to really be an impactful receiver.

In a Will Stein offense that is going to pride itself on "feeding the studs" Gilmore will look to become one of those studs. He is not a straight 40-yard dash guy, but he has a great ability to snap off a long one or create space down the field over space.

Nic Anderson is probably going to be WR1 in the fall, but Gilmore will look to push for the starting job on the opposite side.
