Aaron Bradshaw, a former Kentucky Wildcat, was removed from the Ohio State team a few weeks ago, and it was announced today that he would be reinstated. There was no official word on why he was not with the program and the school. The only statement ever released officially was this:

""Aaron Bradshaw is not currently participating in team activities. The university is following its established process. Due to federal privacy laws, we cannot share further information at this time.""

Rumors were swirling about point shaving, but that seemed to be unfounded, especially as he is now back with the team. The Columbus Dispatch was able to investigate that it was domestic violence-related even without charges being filed. You can read that article here. The Columbus Dispatch wrote about the incident, "No charges have been filed against Bradshaw. There is no timeframe for his possible return to the team or a final decision as the university conducts its process, and he is not expected to be in uniform for Monday night's game against Green Bay."

Today, the head coach for Ohio State, Jake Diebler, said that Bradshaw is officially back with the team, although he wasn't sure if he could play in the next game against Auburn. That is still a question they are working on. This could be conditioning-related or simply the process of reinstatement by the school after his absence. This is all good news for Bradshaw and a sign that the due process has been served, and he is good to return.

Bradshaw was a top recruit out of high school and has tremendous upside with a very good basketball length. He has had limited success at Ohio State, but they will be desperate to get him back and help shore up their center position.

The Ohio State Buckeyes will take on the Kentucky Wildcats on December 21st at 5:30 p.m. in the historic and world-famous Madison Square Garden. These teams will be participating in the HBCU Showcase. You can watch that game on CBS.
