Kentucky didn’t just beat Florida.
Kentucky embarrassed Florida, and Gator Nation is still unraveling days later. It is a sight to see, and one every Kentucky fan should enjoy.
One year after the Wildcats were blown out by 28 in The Swamp, Mark Stoops’ team returned the favor with a 31-point demolition in Lexington, a game that felt effectively over the moment Kentucky scored its first touchdown early in the second quarter.
From that point on, Florida looked overwhelmed, unfocused, and downright uninterested. They even changed quarterbacks, but it made no difference, the Wildcats were faster, sharper, and more physical at every position group. They were just better.
Kentucky rolled to a 38–7 win that could have been worse, and the Gators never mounted so much as a threat after the opening minutes. And Florida fans?
They’ve been in full meltdown mode ever since, and it is glorious.
Gator nation is burning
Message boards are burning. Twitter (X) is a mess. Fans are arguing about coaching searches, quarterback decisions, recruiting failures, culture, effort, and just about anything else they can get their hands on.

What is great is just a few weeks ago, the Cats were in the exact same boat, or dumpster in this case. It feels good to be giving it out for once.
The university of Florida should fire 85 percent of the football staff today run a skeleton crew there is zero reason to keep sending paycheck to people after putting that product on the field!

Whole sale changes on the way in Gainesville, courtesy of the Cats.
As a Florida gator fan, losing to Kentucky in Football is wholly unacceptable. I don't care whether its Lane or whomever. Fix this. #Gators #Gatornation

Never in the most terrifying of hallucinations would I have thought I’d see Florida become Kentucky’s bitch in football. But here we are. It’s not just that Florida’s 1-4 in the last five matchups, but to boot the beatings are getting more and more lopsided each time.

There was once a time when the Florida Gators losing a football game to Kentucky was considered laughable.

Now, beating them is.
My, my how the tables have turned.
It’s hard to believe the Florida football program has fallen this far.

Just got gutted 38-7 by a bad team.
I was a student at UF in 1979 when the Gators went 0-10-1. That team was totally hapless and hopeless.
This feels the same.
Just hard to fathom.
What’s undeniable is this:
Florida fans aren’t mad at the scoreboard.
They’re mad because Kentucky pushed them around again, and this time the Cats were just 3-5.
For Kentucky, it’s another satisfying chapter in a series that was once completely one-sided.
For Florida, it’s another week of chaos.
