Kentucky baseball is set to kick off its SEC opening weekend with a massive series against the third-ranked Georgia Bulldogs in Athens. The Wildcats, ranked #23, will be looking to start conference play strong against one of the nation’s best teams. Adding even more intrigue to the series, former Kentucky standout Nolan McCarthy, who played a key role in helping the Wildcats reach Omaha last season, is now suiting up for Georgia.
