Where did the former Kentucky transfers end up?
The transfer portal has changed everything, and Kentucky basketball has seen its fair share of roster movement in recent years. While the program continues to reload under Mark Pope, a handful of former Wildcats are continuing their careers elsewhere. Here's where they are now heading into the 2025–26 season:
Zvonimir Ivišić, the 7-footer who showed flashes in Lexington, spent last season at Arkansas before transferring to Illinois to team up with his brother. He averaged 8.5 points and 4.3 boards in Fayetteville and should be a Big Ten mismatch with his length and shooting touch.

Cam’Ron Fletcher, once a promising forward at UK, played for Xavier in 2024-25 and will now suit up for High Point. A career 6.7-point, 4.1-rebound guy, Fletcher still has upside in a mid-major setting.
Bryce Hopkins, who had a breakout year at Providence before tearing his ACL, is transferring to St. John’s. A healthy Hopkins could be a star for Rick Pitino in Queens.
Other notable transfers:
DJ Wagner is returning for a junior year at Arkansas.
Devin Askew has found stability at Villanova after a rollercoaster journey since leaving Kentucky.
Aaron Bradshaw is trying to rediscover his five-star promise at Memphis.
Jordan Burks is at UCF now.
Daimion Collins is looking to reestablish himself at South Florida after leaving LSU.
Joey Hart is plying his trade at Ball State.

Ugonna Onyenso transferred to Virginia from Kansas State, where the Cavs will try to turn his rim protection into ACC dominance.
Dontaie Allen, once a fan favorite from Pendleton County, is currently in the Transfer Portal. CJ Fredrick, who battled injuries at both Kentucky and Cincinnati, has officially retired from basketball.
Not every Wildcat finishes in Lexington, but nearly all keep hooping—and several are thriving in their second (or third) chapters.
