Kansas City Royals’ All-Star shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. has officially entered the madness of March! The electrifying young slugger, known for his blazing speed and powerful bat, just released his March Madness bracket, and it's a wild one. Kentucky vs St. John's in the championship.

Witt Jr., who’s been tearing it up on the diamond with a .288 batting average and 110 career home runs, decided to take his competitive nature off the field and into the world of college basketball. His bracket? Nothing short of bold.

The baseball sensation who hit .332 last season and was an MVP candidate for the Royals, has Kentucky, Wisconsin, Auburn, and St. John’s as his Final Four teams. That’s right — Witt Jr. is banking on some big-time upsets. And if that wasn’t shocking enough, he has not one but TWO 12-seeds making it to the Sweet 16. Clearly, he's going for Cinderella magic.

But the biggest jaw-dropper? Witt Jr. has Kentucky taking down Rick Pitino and the St. John’s Red Storm in the championship game to claim their ninth national title. Former coach who won a national title meets former player who captained the team, and who he helped get the job. All the stories, all the moments meeting in the championship game; that's a Hollywood script.

His predicted path to the title has Kentucky knocking off Wisconsin, St. John’s edging Auburn, and the Wildcats ultimately getting the best of Pitino’s squad in a legendary showdown. The Witt Jr. bracket is sure to spark plenty of conversations, especially considering Kentucky’s storied history and Pitino’s connection to the program.

If his skills at predicting basketball outcomes are even half as good as his baseball talent, the Wildcats might just have their ninth banner on the way.

BBN stay tuned to WBN all March long for unparalleled coverage of Kentucky's journey in March.
