Aidan Laros hopefully has a good sense of humor after getting a hilarious rating in EA Sports College Football 26.

EA Sports Gave Exactly One Player a 0 in Toughness, and He Plays for Kentucky

The long-awaited return of EA Sports College Football brought with it plenty of fanfare—and plenty of ratings debates.

But one number stood out in a sea of 99s and 85s: zero.

That’s the toughness rating assigned to Kentucky punter Aidan Laros, the only player in the entire game with a big, fat goose egg in that category. Even EA’s digital editors had to do a double-take.

Laros, a transfer from UT Martin, isn’t some scrub off the bench. He’s one of the most accomplished punters in the country. Before coming to Kentucky last year, he led the FCS with a 47.3-yard punting average. He dropped 16 inside the 20, forced 15 fair catches, and even handled field goal duties for the Skyhawks. He was the definition of a field-position weapon.

EA gave Laros a 77 overall—one of the top punter ratings in the SEC. But that “0” in toughness? That’s straight-up bulletin board material.

At 6-foot-2 and 204 pounds, Laros isn’t built like your average specialist. He’s not afraid of contact and isn’t just a one-trick leg. Kentucky’s staff raves about his maturity, consistency, and confidence—traits you wouldn’t expect from someone the video game world thinks is made of glass.

Players get ribbed over much less in a college locker room. It’s safe to assume Laros’ teammates have already found the rating and let him hear about it. But don’t expect the Aussie-born punter to be rattled. He’s got a cannon for a leg, ice in his veins, and a clear shot to be Kentucky’s best punter since Max Duffy.

The real question: will EA patch the toughness rating in time? Or will Laros have to prove it the old-fashioned way—by leveling someone on a punt return?

Either way, he’s already a fan favorite in Lexington. And now? He’ll probably be a big time meme too, especially if he gets a strong tackle next season.
