Where do you go from here as a fan? The season has absolutely eroded under our feet. Kentucky looked like a team that could be rising in the SEC after the big upset of Ole Miss, and all they have done since is tumble. It's week after week of embarrassment, and most fans have moved beyond anger. A feeling of malaise, or maybe it's sorrow, but mostly it's disappointment.
We have a coach making a top-10 salary, and his university buyout is about $44 million right now, and we are a bottom-barrel SEC team. It's just so disappointing. It's not just here; many fans are lashing out with their disappointment.
You know it’s so sad that I’m not even mad about football. I’ve just accepted the fact we suck, always have and always will.

When the bags go over the head, the program is in a dark spot. The hard part is that the crowds have been so great at these games, but the product has not. It's been ugly. The season is lost, and fans are lamenting this reality.
Y’all do realize a loss tonight means we beat zero sec teams at home this year, right?

The final two home games are against non-SEC opponents, Murray State and Louisville. Even with wins against those two programs, there's no way to get a home SEC win this year, and this is a low point.
Worst Kentucky football team in 10 years. So disappointed in this season.

Head coach Mark Stoops brought this fandom to a new place, a place where it felt like the program was on the cusp of something special. For many fans, it feels like it is unraveling in front of our eyes. Fans were already growing discontent with Stoops, but after tonight's game, it's more prominent. If you can't even beat Auburn, which is historically bad this season, who can you beat in the SEC?
There are no words to express how bad this season is. Stoops is here next season unless he doesn’t want to be. There’s no debate in that. If he doesn’t make MASSIVE philosophical and staff changes UK is going to be a bottom feeder again and all the work he’s done the past 12…
— Bleed Blue Network (@BleedBNetwork) October 27, 2024
The attention has fully turned to hoping Stoops will leave on his own or at least find a way to turn things massively around in the next season.
Mark Stoops is lost as a head coach in year 12 at Kentucky. He has done so many good things as Kentucky's coach, but it's time. He knew it was time when he tried to leave for A&M. No one wants it to be this way, but what he worked hard to build is getting away from him.

Kentucky won't fire Mark Stoops but he should do the program a favor and leave for another job after this season. #BBN

It doesn't get any easier next week; it actually gets harder as Kentucky goes on the road to take on the Tennessee Volunteers. Losses against bad SEC teams are so frustrating, but losing to your rival is the pits. Next week, it feels like we need a miracle.
