Kentucky football is back in a Noon kickoff and the Wildcats better have enough energy early in the day. UK is taking on a physical and talented Alabama team still alive for the College Football Playoff.

Of course, Kentucky locked up bowl eligibility last week with a 24-3 win over Mississippi State. The defense played a complete game, holding the Bulldogs to under 150 passing yards and just 73 total rushing yards.

Offensively, the Wildcats still displayed some struggles, but quarterback Devin Leary passed for a pair of touchdowns and no interceptions. Ray Davis led the rushing attack with 80 yards.

Kentucky had 8 sacks in the win over Mississippi State, something that will need to carry over against an always tough Bama offensive line.

Alabama has yet to lose in the SEC, with their only loss of the season coming against Texas, 34-24. Kentucky football is easily the most difficult opponent remaining on Alabama’s schedule, with Chattanooga and Auburn rounding up their regular season slate.
