Kentucky basketball is back in action three days removed from an opening night win over New Mexico State, 86-46.

The Lions are already playing their third game of the season, losing to Texas A&M and Texas Tech. Kentucky will be their third Power 6 opponent in just five days.

For the Wildcats, this game is a pivotal tune-up before they face No. 1 Kansas on next Tuesday. For such a young, freshmen-heavy team, having a few games under their belt before facing a talented Jayhawks team is crucial.

Of course, freshman jitters weren’t an issue in the first game against the New Mexico State Aggies. All five freshmen performed well and shot efficiently, something I’m sure Coach Cal was happy with.

However, one game is such a small sample size and doesn’t matter too much in the grand scheme of things. UK will have to re-group and continue to work on coming together as a team before the non-conference slate really takes off.

Here’s a look at the TV/streaming information and game time as Kentucky basketball plays Texas A&M-Commerce.

One thing to note – this game will not be available on TV.
