441. 17-25. 528. Final. 25-17

Despite Kentucky basketball winning 17 career games against North Carolina, I assume this series stings even more than the UConn one. After all, they’ve played 42 times and are two of the truest Blue Bloods in college basketball. But when it comes down to it, UNC has just had more success when playing UK.

Luckily, Kentucky won the last meeting, 98-69 in 2021. The sides split wins over the past five meetings. However, from 2004-08, the Tar Heels won five straight, and from 1975-1995, North Carolina had a six-game winning streak.

They don’t play ever year, but when they do, it’s oftentimes a battle. In the 42 matchups, 11 of them have been decided by five points or less. The Wildcats prefer the next six-plus battles end in wins.
