Power Forward – Justin Edwards

Another option at the starting four spot is Ugonna Onyenso, but Edwards is Kentucky’s top-rated recruit, at least according to 247Sports. His more natural position is small forward but at 6-foot-7 and 180 pounds, he can still be effective starting at PF.

That should hold true thanks to Edwards being a good rebounder and defensive asset. If you’re going to play small ball, you better have some defensive-minded players in the lineup, and Edwards fits the description.

This isn’t to say he can’t put up points. Edwards will likely be a part of the three-headed scoring machine alongside Wagner and Reeves. It may be an inexperienced Kentucky basketball team as far as age is concerned, but there are some professional scorers on this roster.
