Small Forward – Antonio Reeves

If Reeves, does end up starting on the wing, it would be a very small lineup. However, I find it hard to believe the fifth-year senior would have opted to come back after rumors of him leaving if a starting spot wasn’t guaranteed.

At 6-4, 185 pounds, Reeves has enough build to hold down the three spot, but his experience is where starting him would really pay off. Reeves wasn’t second on the team in points per game last season, and should once again share the go-to role alongside Wagner.

Defensively, Reeves can be a liability, which does raise some concern if such a small lineup is played. There’s a chance Wagner comes off the bench for Reeves, but either way, it’s too much talent at the combo guard spot for this not to be a lineup used at some point each game. My bet is it will be from the start, with some changes being made down the stretch based on scenarios.
