Point Guard – Robert Dillingham

You don’t bring in a five-star point guard for any other reason than to start him. Coach Cal has done that before and he’s not about to stop with Dillingham.

The Overtime Elite product is exceptional with the ball and plays looking to score the ball. While traditionalists may prefer a pass-first point guard, Dillingham’s style of play will probably catch on. He’s a go-getter and that’s exactly what Kentucky basketball needs.

On a team with seven freshmen, Dillingham is easily one of the most fine-tuned. He will be expected to run the show from day one, which will come with some pressure, but he’s not the only first-year player on this team in a similar role when it comes to that.
