On June 1, there was a lot of angst among Big Blue Nation. The Kentucky basketball roster was thin and lacking experience. A lot has changed over the course of a few weeks.

If it proves anything, it’s that John Calipari should never be doubted. Although plans A and B may have fallen through, Coach Cal made sure the Wildcats walked away with more talent, landing Tre Mitchell from West Virginia.

Last-minute moves in the transfer portal and recruiting have brought the Kentucky basketball roster into full focus.

On July 1, it’s a good bet this is the roster UK will roll with into the season. There’s a chance they pick up one more transfer, but for the most part, the Cats are set. In fact, I’m 99% sure it’s set, given the fact that jersey numbers were handed out earlier in the week.

Taking everything into consideration, there are plenty of starting lineups Calipari may choose to use during the season. However, this one seems to be the most likely.
