The good news is there is no need to rush or panic about making a hire

The positive to all of this is that Mark Stoops doesn’t seem to be in a rush or in “panic mode” during his search for the new offensive play caller.  Patience is a virtue and will be highly tolerated by the fanbase if waiting means winning more games, scoring more points, and attracting more top-notch recruits in the future.

Furthermore, the Kentucky Offensive Coordinator position sounds a lot more attractive in 2022 than it did in the ’90s and early 2000s.  Kentucky is no longer competing for the “Doormat of the SEC” position on the bottom of the totem pole with the likes of Vanderbilt year in and year out.  The Stoops era has provided the Blue Blue Nation with a sense of stability and comfort in the belief that we can expect to compete in a bowl game going into each season.

Stoops seems to have laid the foundation for the future of a solid football program at the University of Kentucky and there is still a lot to be excited about moving forward with the new hire.
