5. Head Coach Eli Drinkwitz

The head coach of the Tigers, Eli Drinkwitz, has shown nothing but love for the work Mark Stoops has done with the Wildcats’ leading up to their meeting on Saturday. Going all the way back to the SEC Media days that took place this past summer, Drinkwitz had this to say about Stoops,

"“He took a job in this league that had not had a whole lot of success and went and built an identity and stuck with his process…They’re very tough, they’re very physical, they’re very long.”"

This will be the third meeting between the Tigers and Wildcats with Drinkwitz as the head man in Missouri. The Tigers are 1-1 in the series with Drinkwitz, and a win on Saturday will continue the Tigers’ positive trajectory in the SEC landscape.
