4. Indiana

A game that needs to happen on the hardwood and gridiron every year, the Indiana Hoosiers undoubtedly need to be brought back onto the Kentucky Football schedule. I’m old enough to remember this game being a yearly meeting that brought two fan bases together who aren’t necessarily fond of one another.

The last meeting between the two came in 2005, with the Hoosiers easily handing the Cats 38-14 in Bloomington. The series is neck and neck, with the Hoosiers holding the overall record of 18-17-1.

Bringing back rivalries that matter to fans in the age of who gets the largest television rights, and breaking up historic conference rivals, would be a great change of pace. Maybe a weekend in November, we can see Cats on the court and Cats on the turf handle some Hoosiers. A man can dream, can’t he?
