Kentucky football: 5 teams the Wildcats need to schedule in the future
By Tyler Reed
5. Marshall
As a kid who grew up on the Kentucky-West Virginia border, not only did we get Wildcats coverage, but we also got to watch Marshall Thundering Herd football as well. The Wildcats are my only love, but I make sure not to miss a Marshall game if they play at a different time.
The Thundering Herd won the biggest game in program history earlier this year when the team rolled into South Bend and took down Notre Dame. This program is the farthest thing from a cupcake.
After doing some digging, the Wildcats and Herd have met six times, with the Wildcats taking all six meetings, with the last coming in 1960. The time has come for these two to meet on the gridiron once again.
