Kentucky football: take the 31-23 win and move on we’re 4-0 going to Oxford
By Eric Thorne
Kentucky’s running game is just mediocre at best waiting for Rodriguez’s return
The Kentucky running backs still can’t get the ball moving on the ground and many times go backward or make little forward progress but did manage to break 100 yards combined with a meager 103 total yards.
Kavosiey Smoke ran 12 times for 85 yards, but 27 of those came on one play so the numbers are a bit misleading. JuThan McClain was next with 15 yards on three carries and La’Vell Wright had nine carries for a whopping 14 yards.
Levis getting sacked five times and losing 21 yards was again concerning with the offensive line, not opening holes or protecting their signal caller.
Here’s hoping C-Rod is salivating on the sideline and ready to make an immediate impact because his hard-nosed running is sorely needed and missing.
