Most of the talk this season from the Kentucky football wide receiving unit has been for the hidden gem freshman Dane Key, and rightfully so. On Saturday, Barion Brown cemented his name into the stat sheet by telling BBN that this unit is more than the future. It’s the now.

Brown possibly had the game’s biggest highlight when Wildcats QB Will Levis and Brown connected for a 70-yard score that gave Kentucky the 21-14 lead. A lead the Wildcats wouldn’t give up for the rest of the game.

Brown finished his star performance with 179 yds on 4 rec. and found the endzone at Kroger Field on two occasions. Wide receiver was a question of uncertainty before the start of the season, and that question has been put to bed with the performance of Key, Brown, and the second star from Saturday night’s victory.
